wallspankers
Issue One of Wallspankers, the B&W Sticker Swap zine, is online and ready for you to Do-It-Yourself.
Wallspankers is...
+ A NEW B & W Zine. Both as a PDF (free) and in print (cheap)
+ An International Black & White Sticker Swap
+ A place to see incredible artists and graffiti writers work
+ An online platform to showcase your art and design
+ A collaborative network of like-minded artists and designers
from the site:
This is a brand spankin' new project headed by MWMgraphics and Knuckle Sandwich Press. The idea is pretty simple and we have been meaning to make it happen for years. It is a collaborative endeavor that entirely relies on participants submissions and "spanks". Spanking refers to slapping stickers up (an incredible current worldwide phenomenon).
As a graffiti head, designer, illustrator, and sticker fan, I wanted to create a place where friends, fam and new acquaintances could share their Black and White designs with the world. _Matt MWM
We will be releasing quarterly zines, both online (free) and in print (cheap), that subscribers can then bring to their local "Photocopy Shop" and make into stickers. So if you submit work, there is a really good chance you will be UP in cities that you will never even visit, and you will also have the opportunity to collect and share the work of like-minded artists from around the globe.

film magazine format? que?
from their site:
Eschewing hype, gossip and meaningless celebrity, Little White Lies is a magazine that engages with movie lovers who understand that cinema is about broadening your horizons. Music, travel, fashion and current events are all aspects of the movie-going experience, and Little White Lies is the first and only magazine to embrace them all.
Little White Lies is a true expression of the phrase 'by movie lovers for movie lovers'. It's a springboard - a forum for discussion - a tangible representation of the conversation about films that you wished you had. It's a magazine about truth and movies.

"The Nation Magazine Cover Archive (NMCA) is a non-commercial 'hobbysite' devoted to helping keep inspirational magazine design alive. These are dark days for magazine design with homogenisation and closure of many well known (and loved) titles. Have you noticed how bland, safe and banal our newsstands have been looking lately? Is this what you want? Hey consumers, vote with your feet! Don't let quality magazines die." — NMCA Editor
